Safan
products distinguish themselves by including many standard features
Standard
features of the HT shears are:
Blades with four cutting edges, at the bottom and at the top.
T-slot at the front of the table.
Ruler in the table on the left and on the right
Squaring guides on the left and on the right across the
width of the table.
2 disappearing spring stops to be mounted in one of the
T-slots at the top of the table.
2 supporting arms.
Cutting line lighting
Foundation plates
Filled oil reservoir
Fine-tuning for backgauge parallelism.
Switch and auxiliary tools for knife adjustment
Light screen for safety guard at the back.
Backgauge range 1000 mm.
Hand slots in finger guard (up to capacity of 6 mm)
Foot pedal with emergency stop and armoured cable.

As
to thickness the cutting capacity stated meets with a maximum
tensile strenght of 450N/mm²
Safan
products distinguish themselves in modern technology with a high
quality and accuracy
The HT shears have been developed with the latest technologies
in the field of production and drive techniques and in addition
to high productivity they distinguish themselves because of their
sturdiness, simplicity, compactness and modular construction.
An asset of the servo-electronic hydraulic drive (hybrid) applied
here is that it uses very little energy; the motor only turns
when the blade beam is in motion thus producing a low level of
sound.
By applying the hybrid technique the control technology has now
shifted from hydraulics to electronics.
As a result of this approach the sturdy hydraulics of the machine
are controlled by fine-tuned electronic equipment.
A standard feature of the HT shears is an independent left and
right hand motor-driven clearance adjustment with built-in measuring
sensor (accuracy +/- 0.01 mm).
In addition the clearance is self-compensating due to the frame
structure, (see schematic diagram), making sure that the clearance
remains constant over the full length even in the case of a centre
load.
The blade beam guides require very little maintenance due to the
use of self-lubricating graphite bronze.
The backgauge adjustment, standard range 1000 mm, has play-free
straight guides and re-circulating ball spindles; it has a speed
of 200 mm/sec, a setting accuracy of 0.01 mm and a repetitive
accuracy of +/- 0.03 mm (by means of a closed loop control).
A standard feature of the backgauge is clearance compensation
and it retracts automatically when cutting narrow strips.
After changing or grinding the blades, each with four cutting
edges, the clearance can be adjusted at the front, which is ergonomic
and efficient.
Optional
accessories:
Pneumatic sheet support equipment.
Pneumatic sheet support fingers in backgauge beam
Scrap metal disposal systems and scrap metal bins
Extended support arms, movable as an option.
NC controlled front stop systems.
Various types of front stops.
Angle guide with graduation.
Various removal and stacking systems
Extension of backgauge range
Backgauge beam which can be swung clear.
Extended squaring guide (with hardened stop as an option).
Safan
products distinguish themselves because of their safety standard
and modular design.
Of
course the HT shears meet all CE standards.
The
shears are available with extra accessories like NC controlled
front stop arms or the machine can be extended to comprise a complete
shearing arrangement centre.
As
extra accessories removal and stacking equipment like holding-up
equipment can be supplied at an extra charge.
Safan products distinguish themselves as they are easy to use
All
HT shears are equipped with a control unit and a (monochrome 9.4")
Touch Screen; this improves the operation and the control is direct
and prompt. The Touch Screen control unit runs under Microsoft
Windows® and the settings of the shears are clearly shown
on the Touch Screen display.
There
are three setting levels:
1
You enter type and thickness of material and backgauge position
allowing the HT shear to automatically adjust the cutting angle,
clearance and the backgauge. Then you start cutting.
2
As setting level 1 but also including stroke counter, single stroke/multiple
stroke adjustment, feed-through time, length of stroke, beginning
and end of cutting stroke and retraction of the backgauge.
If required the sheet supports, scrap metal disposal unit and/or
other optional accessories can be activated here.
It is also possible to control the hold-down plungers in such
a way that your products are not damaged when cold welding on
the knives takes place (usually when processing aluminium and
thermo galvanized materials.
3.
As setting level 2 but used to produce cutting programs. In addition
it is possible to carry out more cutting strokes in a row and
subsequently store the cutting program in the memory with a drawing
number and/or program name, if required. This can be entered by
means of the alphanumerical keyboard including the number of repetitions
of a cutting program.
At
an extra charge the control unit can be equipped with a swivel
arm.
The control unit can also be equipped with a Pentium PC with 12.1"
T.F.T colour Touch Screen, Flash disk memory, floppy disk drive
and network connection (100 MB Ethernet UTP).
